The Cable Detector with a measurement range from 0 µΩ to 6000 Ω precisely measures the smallest resistances and is used to check critical connections in electronics and electrical engineering. The Cable Detector offers 6 selectable measurement ranges, uses the 4-wire measuring method and can measure both resistance and inductance. The device provides a maximum test current of 10 A within the range of 60000 µΩ and offers test currents of 10 A, 1 A, 100 mA, 10 mA and 1 mA. The 3.3-inch LC display has a backlight that can be activated and switches off automatically after 30 seconds to save battery power.

In addition, the Cable Detector has a comparison function that enables a quick pass/fail display and speeds up the evaluation of the test results. The cable length can be calculated by entering the resistance per metre, which provides precise results when determining the cable length.
